Standing up for you in Surrey-Fleetwood.
A long-time Surrey resident with his wife Rajwant and their children Noor and Fateh, Jagrup Brar knows firsthand what matters to our community.
For over a decade, Jagrup worked in the public and nonprofit sectors. As the Executive Director of the Surrey Self Employment and Entrepreneur Development Society (SEEDS), he trained entrepreneurs to develop and launch successful small businesses.
As the MLA for Surrey Panorama & Fleetwood from 2004 to 2013, Jagrup was a champion for our community. He was re-elected in 2017.
Jagrup is proud to have been part of David Eby’s BC NDP government. Together they’ve worked to fix overcrowding in Surrey schools, invest in public transit to ease traffic congestion, and raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour.
Jagrup and his BC NDP colleagues are making BC better for people, and helping families get ahead. You can trust that he’s on your side.
